The South Hams, is an area of great natural beauty, rolling hills and fields, ancient woodlands, dotted about with pretty villages and hamlets. An extensive network of footpaths and country lanes allows easy access to the surrounding countryside. The South West Coast Path runs here, through mainly National Trust owned land, mile after mile of excellent walking, with stunning scenery.

There are several glorious beaches within easy reach of Kingsbridge, and for inland explorers, Dartmoor is only a 40 minute drive away. There are so many fun things to try in this part of south Devon, canoeing, horse riding, rock climbing, golf, tennis, fishing, sailing, steam trains, cream teas, farm visits, and of course, crabbing with a bucket and line in the estuary.
